In the mid 1930’s, Reinhold Schmidt, a young German merchant from Berlin had moved to the Far East to establish business in Shanghai. In 1944 he moved from China to the Kingdom of Thailand.

After working for some notable foreign firms, he then founded Schmidt Co., Ltd. in 1960. As an entrepreneur, he soon focused on the food supplying industry. His German virtues of hard work, commitment and reliability had contributed to develop Schmidt Company into a leading and trusting firm.
Today Schmidt Company is a second/third generation family owned Thai company and we all strive to carry on his virtues that are rooted in this establishment.

Our air conditioned warehouses contain countless quantities of food products and utensils.
The store rooms (-18 C., - 5C., +5 C., and +18 C.) ensure that even dry goods and utensils are stored in cool and dry conditions to prevent premature aging.
For delivery, refrigerated trucks are used to ensure that the products are reaching our customer in best conditions. |
